The Courage to Create Quietly
Exciting news 🥳🫶🏻
Hey friend,
When I started The Curious Pen, I didn’t have a plan.
I just had questions.
And I wanted a place to explore them, to make sense of life’s quiet moments and remind myself that reflection is progress.
Somehow, along the way, 1000+ of you joined me.
You turned this little space into a room full of thinkers, feelers, and doers.
You’ve written back, shared your own stories, and reminded me that curiosity is contagious.
Like this note from last week:
“I’m grateful I read this because I don’t post enough… Thank you for the reminder that if I don’t believe in myself, others won’t either.”
That message stopped me.
Because that’s what this space has always been about, believing in yourself enough to stay curious, even when no one’s clapping.
But lately, I’ve been rethinking what staying curious really means.
For me, it’s not about producing more.
It’s about protecting the spaces that make me think clearly.
And to do that, to write better, to live slower, to share something true, I’m shifting the rhythm of this newsletter.
Going forward
The Curious Pen will now land in your inbox once a month, on the last Sunday.
A single letter to close the month quietly.
Not a scroll to rush through, but a note to breathe with.
Something you can read slowly, maybe with your coffee.
Something that helps you exhale before the next month begins.
💌 What’s staying
The honesty.
The reflection.
The soft, searching tone that started all this.
That doesn’t change.
This will always be a space for making sense of the world together, no pressure, no performance.
What’s growing
I’m also putting more of my time into The Strategic Pen my weekly Wednesday newsletter, where I share systems, stories, and strategies that help you grow and monetize your personal brand, without burning out. you can join me there →
But The Curious Pen will stay here, still heart-first, still curious, still real.
Thank you for being part of this.
You’ve made this space feel like home and I don’t take that lightly.
Because curiosity isn’t something to rush.
It’s something to return to, at the right pace, in the right season, with the right people.
See you on the last Sunday.
❤️
Maggie
PS
If this space has ever helped you see something differently, reply and tell me how.
I read every message, they remind me why I write in the first place.

Hi, Maggie. It’s been a while but I am still connected and I am back 🙏🏾 I think this is a beautiful pace for Curious Pen. I’m connected to both of your newsletters and both have helped me in my writing journey.
Thank you all ❤️
